Hi,

We've few Oracle EBS Financials Interfaces , some of them imports the data from other legacy applications and others send the data from Oracle Apps to Legacy Systems.

Now, I wan to find out whether Oracle ODI ( or for that matter any Oracle Fusion middleware component including BPEL,EBS ) can subistitute these existing interfaces.

One of the leagcy systems is getting replaced with a new system and so entire change in Data base/data model . Now, we've to rewrite the entire interface code both at the new system and also at the Oracle Apps side. The current mode of communication between Oracle Apps and legacy system is through DB Link and so these 2 systems are currently tightly coupled.
Now ,in the advent of the legacy system replacement , it's causing a entire re-development work at oracle EBS apps side as well.


To prevent these kind of future re-design/re-code problems ( when systems get changed ) , can ODI help in cost cuttings?
