I am trying to figure out how the standard edition oracle license will apply for database running in VM on Oracle VM. For enterprise edition licenses we have the option of pinning the cpu cores using cpupools to match licenses. But for standard edition, which works on physical sockets, how the licensing will apply? If anyone has any idea how people map standard edition licenses with OVM?
