Standard attributes, Managed attributes, PDR and DDR

Hi,

In the manual I read a lot about:

- Standard attributes
- Managed attributes
- PDR's
- DDR's

I have searched across the manuals and also on the web but I find it difficult to understand what these really are. Can somebody give me a practical example of these four terms?
