SSO redirecting to BI login

Hello all,
I'm new to BIEE and i'm trying to setup SSO for all products. i'm familiar with BI Publisher and SSO is working on it. i followed the deployment guide and the steps i've done are as follow. When i navigate to a url server/analytics, it redirects me to SSO but then sends me back to the BI login page.

1. added entries to mod_osso
2. created a new credential store and impersonator user
3. ran the cryptotools script and all entries were added to the xml
4. added credentialstore and Auth blocks to bidata_home\web\config\instanceconfig.xml
5. deployed analytics.ear and named it analyticsSOAP. added entry to mod_osso.conf

Since the sso part is talking to the server, it seems my issue is with the impersonator setup.
Also, am i suppose to integrate obiee with the internet directory in chapter 10 of the deployment manual?
