SSL configuration with Oracle Instant client 10.2

Hi All,

I have instant client 10.2 on my machine.
I want connect to an SSL instance remotely (over TCPS)

Does it require that I install net services (which installs wallet manager, net services manager) on the client on my machine to connect to the SSL instance?
Would all the cipher suits, encryption protocols be present in the instant client?
