SSL Configuration on HTTP Server

Hi ,

I have configured SSL on HTTP Server, but when I try using https://hostname:port/em it redirects to http://hostname:port/em. When I have checked the ssl_engine_log I have found following error:

[18/Nov/2008 03:52:22 15999] [error] SSL call to NZ function nzos_Handshake failed with error 29049 (server <hostname>:<port>, client <ip-address>)
[18/Nov/2008 03:52:22 15999] [error] SSL protocol error [Hint: the client probably speaks HTTPS over HTTP protocol]

I am using Oracle Application Server 10.1.3.1.0

I have been hanging with this problem for quite some time and not able to resolve it. Any help is highly appreciated.
