SRVCTL remove service failed

653212Jun 30 2010 — edited Jul 4 2010
Dear Experts,
I executed a command (just to test) as below and which failed:

*$ srvctl remove service -d dwh -s service_serv1 -i dwh2*
PRCD-1107 : Removed service service_serv1 but failed to remove its underlying server pool dwh_service_serv1
PRCS-1012 : Failed to remove server pool dwh_service_serv1
PRCR-1072 : Failed to unregister server pool ora.dwh_service_serv1
CRS-2554: Server pool 'ora.dwh_service_serv1' cannot be unregistered as it is referenced by resource 'ora.dwh.service_serv1_preconnect.svc'

After that I tried to remove the pool (which I think should be done before deletion of the service):

*$ srvctl remove srvpool -g service_serv1*
PRCR-1039 : Server pool ora.service_serv1 does not exist

Then I tried to add new service with the same name service_serv1 and failed:

*$srvctl add service -d dwh -s service_serv1 -r dwh3,dwh2-a axdw1 -q TRUE -P BASIC -m BASIC -e SELECT -z 180 -w 5 -j LONG*
PRKO-2102 : Failed to create server pool axdw_service_serv1: PRCS-1007 : Server pool axdw_service_serv1 already exists
PRCR-1086 : server pool ora.axdw_service_serv1 is already registered

Now is there any way to completely remove the faulty service service_serv1?

Please help.
