srvctl not removing database

All,

I've tried creating a cluster database using DBCA but had to stop the installation. Now the OCR shows the database exists. I've tried using the srvctl remove database command and while there are no errors returned, the entry still exists. I can see references in the text file generated with ocrdump and also using srvctl config database command. Any ideas on how I can REALLY get the database removed from the OCR?
