Umesh GuptaNov 1 2011 — edited Mar 26 2012
Environment:
OS: - SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 9
Database Version: - 10.2.0.3.0
Cluster Version: - 11.1.0.6.0
Oracle Home: - /software/oracle/product/10.2.0/database
CRS Home: - /software/oracle/product/11.1.0/crs

usually i down my RAC database by
CRS_HOME/bin $ crsctl stop crs
but when i a m trying to down it via SRVCTL it's throwing below error.
CRS_HOME/bin $ srvctl stop instance -I rac1 -d racdb

PRKR-1007 : getting of cluster database racdb configuration failed, PRKR-1078 : Database racdb cannot be administered using current version of srvctl. Instead run srvctl from /software/oracle/product/10.2.0/database
Please Suggest how can i run SRVCTL command?

Thanks and Regards

Umesh
