SQLDeveloper - Not able to retain the saved passwords

Hi,

I am using SQL developer (version 19.1.0.094) and have few Oracle connections. Whenever I save my connections with a password in it, I loose them when I launch my SQLDeveloper next time. My "Save Password" checkbox is checked.

I am using MacBook (Catalina, 10.15.3).

I tried deleting SQL developer along with .sqldeveloper file from my users directory and then re-installing SQL developer but "no luck".

Has anyone experienced this? Please suggest!
