SQLcl poor error message from INFO when table doesn't exist

Ric Van DykeFeb 3 2017 — edited Feb 3 2017

I find the error message when I use the INFO command on a table that doesn't exist less then helpful, the good old describe is much better about what is going on:

SQL> version

Oracle SQLDeveloper Command-Line (SQLcl) version: 4.2.0.16.355.0402

SQL>

SQL>

SQL> infor vehicles_temp2

ORA-20005: ORU-10034: context argument must be integral, 0 to 9

ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_UTILITY", line 153

ORA-06512: at line 1

SQL> desc vehicles_temp2

ERROR:

ORA-04043: object vehicles_temp2 does not exist
