SQL Workshop - Script Editor hung/stuck on 'Submitted'

Ronnie_in_CraigavonJun 17 2010 — edited Jul 30 2010
Hi there,

When submitting a script through the SQL Workshop -> Script Editor, it hangs saying 'Submitted' and wont go any further.
The script is a mixture of DDL and DML, and works fine through SQL plus into the Database, just not through the script editor.

As I know that the script is okay, so I've tried to troubleshoot by looking-up what the script editor process is... How are the scripts actually run?
Problem was I didn't have any luck/Don't know where to look.

At first I checked to see if the scripts running though the SQL workshop were submitted into a DBMS_JOB for execution, but I didn't see anything there.

Can someone please point me in the right direction, so that I can RTfM: where can I find out why this script is queued for execution in Apex, but runs fine through Sql*Plus.

Or, has someone seen this before, and knows that it's a simple fix/permissions issue/Apex Configuration issue.

Regards-

Ron.
