SQL Plus connection to Oracle RAC

I have SQL Plus in my Oracle 11g Client.
I can connect to Oracle 11g RAC with a string connection using SQL Developer.
How do I connect to my Oracle RAC using SQL Plus. In the past I would set up my SQL Plus connection parameters in tnsnames.ora but dont see tnsnames.ora in my current Oracle 11g Client tools.
Please advise.
