SQL*Plus and Ubuntu

834892Jan 27 2011 — edited Jan 31 2011
Hello, I'm a Student. I've downloaded Oracle 10g XE and installed on my ubuntu 10.04

All seems to work fine, except for the SQL*Plus Console.

I can insert SQL commands, but if I make a mistake and try to edit with the left arrow key, the cursor inserts a strange code like:
^[[D

The same occurs whenever I try to use up arrow key (^[[A) or any other arrow key, and, of course, F7 (^[[18~) is not working too!

Where's the problem?

Could anyone help me?
