i was asked the following question in an interview and would like to know the answer.
1. if you are loading a file with 5000 records and the sql loader failed at 2500 records, how can you restart sql loader so that it pickup where it failed at 2500 records and start loading records from there?
my answers was that you must cleanup and restart from the beginning. then he asked me if i know any features in oracle sql loader that will make it restart from where it failed. i said i was not aware of any. please feel free to share your suggestion on how to restart sql loader and load from the point of failure without loading from beginning of the file. provide sample code if necessary
