Hi,

I think I'm having a little bit of a knowledge gap here, so I appreciate your help. The download options available confuse me really much as well as the statement "It's included in Oracle" found in this forum.

I want to use the SQL Loader to load data from tab-separated files into an external database. I want to do this by using the commandline out of some php-Code. On the PHP-Server there is no Oracle installation and the only thing I want to do is use the SQL Loader. As I'm not the admin on this server, I need the information which is the most lightweight package I could install for just getting the functionality of the SQL Loader. I don't want to run an Oracle Database on the same server.

I already installed the so called "Oracle Data Access Components for Oracle Client 11.2.0.2.1" using the "Oracle Universal Installer", which I use for .NET development on another PC. This PC doesn't know the "SQLLDR"-command, so this probably is not installed with this package.

I would be happy if somebody could provide me with a link where to find the needed installation package. Or is it impossible to use the Sql-Loader without an Oracle Database on the same PC? Is there than another "easy" and especially fast way of loading tab-separated files with some 100.000 lines into the database?

Thanks & best regards,

Compu
