SQL Developer version 18.2.0 launches, gets to 'Waiting for Editor to initialise' and then closes down

Hello,

I have been running SQL Developer version 18.2.0 for a while now and experienced no issues.

However, where I attempt to launch SQL Developer, it launches, gets to 'Waiting for Editor to initialise' and then closes down.

My connections show and the welcome page is displayed with ‘Waiting for Editor to initialize’ and then closes down.

Any ideas?
