I'm trying to put together some definitive, one-stop documentation on how to run SQL Developer (latest download as of 11/24/2017) on Mac OS 10.13.1 (High Sierra). I have the latest version of Java 8, Java 9, and the JVM installed on the computer, but it appears that changes in Mac OS are preventing SQL Developer from accessing these resources. I'm sure that somebody out there has figured out a way for this to work. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
