SQL Developer not running (could not create JVM)

Hi!
When I run sqldeveloper I get:

Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine.
Error: A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit.
occurred during initialization of VM
Could not reserve enough space for object heap
Error: SQL Developer can't recognize the JDK version

How to fix this?
