SQL Developer - How to view a synonyms ?

Hi All,

Generally, In SQL Developer when we click on a table in left pane, there is a 'data' tab in the right pane which shows all the records. But I am not able to see that data tab for any of the synonyms.

Now although I can hit select * from... for this, but I want to know why there is no "data" tab for synonyms and how can see it.
