SQL Developer error when attempting to import data from excel spreadsheet
690143Mar 10 2009 — edited Feb 16 2010SQLDeveloper 1.5.4 - I select a table, right click and select import data. Next, a dialog box requestion file name, I choose the excel spreadsheet that has the data I want to import. It does it's thing for a few seconds, the return an error "One of more column name in the file doesn't match the column name in the database object. Import Aborted". Shouldn't there be a step where I can map them? I could in 1.5.3. Also, if I try to import the data and create a new table, all appears to work, however, the table is created somewhere where only SQLDeveloper knows, and it's keeping it a secret.
