SQL Developer: Enter, tab or space won't work in statement window

Hello Friends,

I have been using SQL Developer for about three months and have had no problems. No, when I try to type code in the statment window, if I make a mistake, it won't let me delete, backspace, enter or tab. I figure I must have changed some setting but I don't know what, please help? I'm using version 1.5.0.53. Thanks.
