SQL Developer does not start

Hi,

I installed sql developer (without a jre version) , for the first time it started - it prompted for a jre to use which i entered incorrectly, now it doesnt start with the prompt "Unable to Find a Java Virtual Machine". I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it(Extracting the zip again) but it didnt work. Can someone tell me where would sqldeveloper store the jre so that either i can change it or delete it and reinstall
