SQL Developer DB Connection fails after wifi is getting changed ie., Switch from Office to Home

Hi,

This is a strange issue we are facing while using SQL developer. We often face this whenever the Internet(WIFI is getting changed ie., Switch from Office to Home).

After using the laptop at home-> shutdown the laptop-> Using the laptop fresh at the start of the day -> Opening SQL developer -> Connect to the db fails, it will not through you any error message whereas it keeps on running a session at the bottom of the screen (and goes on until you keep it for half of the day).

Few more details about this issue

1) This happens only when connecting to one particular database from office.

2) Other Database connections are working properly without any issue.

3) You either have to restart/shutdown your system more than once to fix this issue (OR) close the SQL Developer more than once and try the Test connection to check if this works.

4) There is nothing different in the database properties, the only difference is the Server name and Database name is different for this environment/instance.

5) This issue is not happening for everyone, happens only for a few people.

I feel like somewhere SQL Developer stores a cache or a firewall block while using in the office, but if this is the reason then it should fail for all the instance environment/instance at all times whereas here it fails only for this instance.

Any pointers/solution to fix this issue will be really helpful.

Thank you.
