We are looking to switch from Erwin to Sql Developer Data Modeler. My first question is, where is the best documentation for this tool? I'm finding the documentation on the oracle site is very generic and lacks detail.
The process we want to accomplish is to import the erwin model (probably through DDL generation) and then be able to compare that generated model to a current database and ultimately generate DDL for updates. If anyone has accomplished this kind of thing, I'd love to hear any tips. I can get both loaded, but am unable to generate the differences between the two.
