Sql Developer and VPN ?

Hi
Just wondered whether anyone had a solution to working with SQL Developer via VPN, as the MTU size appears to be pretty firm (1354) and the flag DF (DO not fragment) for the packets...
Which obviously is a problem for a VPN connection(read: Cisco) as the MTU is set to (max) 1272....

Any ideas ?
