Sql Developer 4.1.19 (Data Modeler - Browser does not launch)

Just starting to work with SQL Developer, I've used many other db clients in the past.

So far so good for my purposes, until today, I am trying to generate an ERD for an existing database that I am starting to work with. 

When I go to View --> Data Modeler --> and Click Browser, ( the menu item is enabled)  nothing happens.

No Data Modeler section opens, nada.

Have I lost my mind?
