I started using a new install of 4.0.3.16 about two to three months ago. Originally I could add and update connections just fine without incident. My connections are created by simply adding Hostname, Port, & Service Name. (I'm not using tnsnames,ora yet)
Now -- when I open SQL Developer, any new connections or updated connections (like new/saved passwords) from the last time I used SQL Developer are not showing up. i.e. My connections are always the same whenever I open the tool. I found the file that stores the connections, but it is not updating as the last saved date is about 1 month ago and never changes. Note that I do not have admins rights and work off a vdi terminal, but I do have write access to the below folder.
Mine is:
C:\Users\<my userid>\AppData\Roaming\SQL Developer\system4.0.3.16.84\o.jdeveloper.db.connection.12.1.3.2.41.140908.1359\connections.xml
Anyone know how to fix this?
