SQL Developer 3.2.20 always prompts for java.exe full pathname

Brian BiggsMar 28 2013 — edited Mar 28 2013
I just upgraded SQL Developer from 3.2.9 to 3.2.20 on my Windows 7 64-bit system. I upgraded it just like I did past versions. It is "installed" in C:\Program Files (x86)\sqldeveloper and under there I have a folder for each version I have installed; sqldeveloper_3.1.07.24, sqldeveloper_3.2.09.30 and now sqldeveloper_3.2.20.09.87.

Now the new 3.2.20 version asks me to Enter the full pathname for java.exe every time I start it. I think the previous version did that, but only once. This new version doesn't seem to remember when I choose the path to the java.exe that I am using.

Any thoughts on how I can make SQL Developer remember where my java.exe is located?
