SQL & PL/SQL

Hi,
I am quite new to Oracle.

I am planning to take up the exams pertaining to Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.

Could someone who have already taken the exams before please help me with the below queries?

1) I went through the site for certification and found the following exams applicable for SQL and PL/SQL
a) 1Z0-001 (Introduction to oracle :SQL and PL/SQL)
b) 1Z0-007 (Introduction to oracle :SQL)
c) 1Z0-101 (Develop PL/SQL program units)
d) 1Z0-147 (Program with PL/SQL)
The information I need is, in what sequence should I be taking up these exams?

2) Would reading any of the oracle 10g books help before starting with the study of the syllabus for the above exams? If yes, which once?

3) Would reading certain specific sections of oracle docs help before starting with the study of the syllabus for the above exams?

4) In addition to the syllabus for the above exams, would reading any additional material help before taking up the exams? If yes, what?

In addition to the queries to the above questions, any suggestions based on your experience when you'll were preparing for the exams would be highly appreciated.
