SQL Access Advisors fails

727319Nov 8 2009 — edited Jun 12 2012
hi,

i setup a oracle database (enterprise edition) to get a first impression to the world of oracle databases. i tried the advisor features for tuning statements and i am having problems to get the Access Advisor to work.

i create a sql tuning set with a few selected statement in it and start the access advisor job with my tuning set. Everytime after i submitted the job i can't find him on the result page. if i take a look in the sheduler central i find my job with the status failed.

this problem is bugging me since some time now. i see the following error-codes if take a look into the failed job:

ORA-13605: The specified task or object string does not exist for the current user. CAUSE: The user attempted to reference an advisor task or object using a name that does not exist in the Advisor repository.

and 3 time the ORA-06512 error

as correction to error 13605 i found the advise to adjust the name - but how?

screenshot of my errormsg. (i am using german interface settings so things are written in german but indeed the username (Benutzername) is not filled)

can someone tell me how to fix that issue and get the access advisor working?
