Split Document/Unsplit Document still kills SQL Worksheet in v1215
306078Feb 20 2006 — edited Mar 22 2006I know that this has been reported a number of times on older versions, but the use of the Split Document in the right-click menu on SQL Worksheet tabs and then Unsplit Document still results in an unusable SQL Worksheet.
However, using the Split Document/Unsplit Document on other tabs (such as Table tab or PL/SQL tab) does not cause problems.
Given the ease of opening a new SQL Worksheet tab and linking it to a connection (which is more than happens with Split Document - it doesn't even associate the new area with a connection), is there any need for this functionality on the SQL Worksheet tab?
I know that removing this from SQL Worksheet tabs would introduce some level of inconsistency between these tabs and other tabs, but it seems better than leaving the functionality in, but not working.
As an interesting note, if you use Split Document twice and then Unsplit Document on a SQL Worksheet tab, the tab is simply closed, rather than being left unusable.
