Special characters like pound sign in cdata

Hi all,

I am generating a UTF-8 xml file and I have cdata sections which they contain characters like the pound sign? I am wondering do I need to escape the pound sign or is it fine as it is in the cdata section.

My second question is what will happen if I have Chinese or Arabic in the cdata. Will I have problems?
