[Sparc ultra30] chaging the scsi cdrom

Hi all,
my scsi cd drive has got a problem (drive not ready), so I think I have to change it. Can I install any 50pin scsi cdrom or should I search for the exact model that was originally installed?
The original cdrom is a Toshiba XM-5701B.
