This error makes no sense.
All references to it talk about using the GRUB failsafe mode to boot and fix the archive.
This however is a SPARC box. There is no such thing as a GRUB failsafe mode that I can find.
This problem occured after installing a Cluster patch 10_Recommend.
When booting the system, you end up with:
Feb 25 23:06:46 svc.startd[7]: svc:/system/boot-archive:default: Method "/lib/svc/method/boot-archive" failed with exit status 1.

I've attempted to boot and fsck the filesystems to no avail. I don't know how to "clear" this problem. Its like it is looking at something that should be on x86 but again, this is a SPARC box.
I rechecked the cluster patch, it was for sparc ... first thing that came to mind.
