I am running the following (imsimta version):

iPlanet Messaging Server 5.2 Patch 1
(built Aug 19 2002)
libimta.so 5.2 Patch 1 (built 23:25:07, Aug 19 2002)
SunOS mailsvr2 5.8 Generic_117350-10 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-60

Now I need to consider some Spam & AV solutions.
I have noticed Brightmail (now Symantec) has been
mentioned in this forum along with SpamAssassin.
I have also seen the docs at: http://docs.sun.com/source/816-6829-10/index.html

My company uses Symantec alot already for Windows platform AV solutions, so we would be comfortable making an investment with a Symantec solution.

So, I am asking if anyone has opinions about
which SPAM & AV solution has been proven to work with iPlanet Messaging Server 5.2p1?

Here is what Symantec's web site says is available:
Symantec AntiVirus Gateway Solution
Symantec AntiVirus Enterprise Edition
Symantec Mail Security for SMTP
Symantec Brightmail AntiSpam

Anyone get any of the above working with IMS5.2p1?
