Spacewalk client configuration without access to Internet to http://yum.oracle.com ?

user1234107Jan 6 2017 — edited Jan 8 2017

Hello,

I have internal Spacewalk 2.4 Oracle Linux 6.6 clients that do not have connection to the outside world to reach  http://yum.oracle.com/repo/OracleLinux/OL6/spacewalk24/client/$basearch/ and download the necessary Spacewalk client rpms. What I thought was possible was for it for my client to connect to my local Spacewalk server instead and map to the repo, but it's like a Catch-22. I can't see the Repo if I'm not already a client.

I have researched on the Web and I can't seem to get an clear answer.

I may have totally lost the plot here and implementing it all wrong, but how do I configure Spacewalk 2.4 Linux clients to talk to my local Spacewalk Repo server to download the necessary Spacewalk client rpms without have to go out to the Internet ?
