SP2-0640 backup of the database failed

Hello everyone,

I am very new to Oracle DB, I have read most (if not all) of the threads re. this error but i am still getting this problem every time i try to backup the db.

I do have admin. rights and i logged on as SYSTEM, the same user i used to install Oracle DB 10g express edition.

I am trying to do a cold backup.

Where can i find this log file as it said it is at "SP2-0640" ?

Please help.
