"SP2-0110: Cannot create save file afiedt.buf" "

i just started using the SQL Command Line of OracleXE..

when i type in edit*

this error appears,
SP2-0110: Cannot create save file afiedt.buf
the same message appears when i try to save an .sql extension.

can someone tell me what this means and how can i fix it...
i just installed my oracle 10 express edition, was there wrong perhaps with the installation?
