SP2-0042: unknown command "UNION" - rest of line ignored.

I used sql script for creating DB structure on Oracle 8 with no errors.
I got "SP2-0042: unknown command "UNION" - rest of line ignored" error on Oracle 9i.
Do you anybody tell me whats wrong ?
