Sound problems with OEL5u4 on HP dv6-1152 tx

Hi,

i have installed OEL5u4 on dv6-1152tx laptop but the problem is there is not sound even i have increased the volume to max. has anybody faced similar problem or anybody has a solution let me know. laptop has ATI Radeon display and altec lansing speakers.

the contents of /etc/modprobe.conf

alias eth0 r8169
alias scsi_hostadapter ahci
alias snd-card-0 snd-hda-intel
options snd-card-0 index=0
options snd-hda-intel index=0
*remove snd-hda-intel { /usr/sbin/alsactl store 0 >/dev/null 2>&1 || : ; }; /sbin/modprobe -r --ignore-remove snd-hda-intel*
options snd-hda-intel model=hp-m4 enable_msi=1

going through some references i have added the last like even then there is no sound
