Hi First of all this is not my field.
The reason for registering and asking a question is this -
I am in the process of developing a new travel brand for the internet, it's global and it could be big.
The problem I have is this, I am just about to give the go ahead for my web guys to start building the site, at the moment they are using, yes you got it .NET..... now after speaking to someone today in the technology business he advises me to look seriously at writing it in JAVA, but what are the true benefits longterm for this...... expandability wise.... financially..... and ease of use!
