some versions of Google Chrome breaks APEX builder search function

Igor FilkoSep 11 2024

Hi all!

Google Chrome Version 128.0.6613.138 (Official Build) (64-bit) and several versions before, seem to break search function in APEX builder with error.

1 error has occurred

  • Error: SyntaxError: Unexpected end of JSON input

No addons or extensions are loaded into Chrome.

Console states:

Uncaught (in promise) SyntaxError: Unexpected end of JSON input
at JSON.parse (<anonymous>)
at #s (builder_all.min.js?v=24.1.4:6:7326)

same thing happens in 24.1.3 but I cannot verify for earlier versions.

Firefox continues to work properly so until this is resolved you can use FF to search through the application or workspace.
