Solaris 'format' not seeing new size of LUN after expansion on SAN

807559Dec 13 2005 — edited Nov 3 2006
Environment:
Sun Fire V480 servers, Solaris 9, Sun Cluster 3.1 (2-nodes), VxVM 4.0, MPxIO enabled
Pair of McData Fibre switches
Sun StorEdge 6130 Array

I have a LUN on the SE6130 that I have expanded from 20 to 25GB using the GUI. That part was straight forward.
One the primary node for the particular disk group, I can see the new size of the LUN using the luxadm command:
# luxadm display /dev/rdsk/c4t600A0B8000181C7400002B4E425C3CD7d0s2
DEVICE PROPERTIES for disk: /dev/rdsk/c4t600A0B8000181C7400002B4E425C3CD7d0s2
Vendor: SUN
Product ID: CSM100_R_FC
Revision: 0610
Serial Num: 1T50650477
Unformatted capacity: 25600.000 MBytes
.....

However, the format utility still show the LUN as a 20GB device. How do I tell Solaris (kernel) to rescan the disk to pick up the new size?
What other command(s) should I run to achieve this? I was thinking of cfgadm, but what syntax/options?

Your help will be appreciated!

Regards,

G.
