Solaris 11.4 how to check what time (drift) is used by ntp(d)-service

switt831Apr 29 2020 — edited May 5 2020

Hi Folks,

could someone provide a best practise to check the actual time-Setting of the ntpd under Solaris 11.4?

In former unix releases the following check was available but under Solaris 11.4 it seems not to work!

adm_switt@audiinsg38mon02:~ $ ntpq -p

     remote           refid      st t when poll reach   delay   offset  jitter

==============================================================================

*xxxxxxx .GPS.            1 u  254  256  377    0.494   -0.048   0.143

adm_xxx@38mon02:~ $

Regards,

Stefan
