Solaris 11 11/11 Live, GParted only allows ntfs and unformatted

automanJun 2 2012
I boot from DVD the Solaris 11 11/11 Live, on a Pentium D Dual Core machine for testing.

The Device Driver Utility recognizes perfectly all (100%) of the devices.

The URL http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/server-storage/solaris11/downloads/index.html?ssSourceSiteId=ocomen says in the "Installing on Bare Metal in a Multiboot Scenario" that: "The Oracle Solaris 11 Live Media includes the GNOME Partition Editor, GParted, which you can use to partition your hard disk. You should create a partition of type Linux swap, which the Oracle Solaris installer will recognize.".

But GParted only allows to format the partition with "ntfs" or "unformatted". All the rest of types appear disabled.

Any idea?
