Solaris 10 update 11 DVD ejected after flar install

997635Mar 18 2013 — edited Mar 19 2013
I just used a Solaris 10 U11 DVD to boot from, then installed a flash archive off of a NFS share on several T4-1 servers. I was kind of surprised when I found that the DVD was ejected from every server. Anyone know if there is a way to keep this from happening? I don't recall seeing any options for automatically or manually ejecting the DVD like you get when you do a DVD-based install. I have more servers to build and want to avoid having to send my datacenter guy to the servers yet again if I can if it is possible.

If you are wondering, I want to keep the DVD in the server in case we need to recover the root password or fsck the root filesystem at some point. I know booting from net would be easier. It just isn't allowed in this environment.

Thanks.
