Solaris 10 on IBM T23

Hi, I have the IBM T23 and no matter what I do the resolution is stuck at 640x480 (it should be 1024x768) . The onboard chipset is chosen correctly it seems to misidentify the LCD. I have changed it several times to other different LCD settings when I installed but no joy. Any ides?
