Solaris 10 on HP DL360

807557Feb 4 2005 — edited Feb 24 2005
Hy,

i'm trying to install Solaris 10 on my HP DL 360. The installation (after doing some tricks ,which has been also already discussed within this forum) went smooth. The problem what i have now is , that it does not recognise my Gigabit Network Cards.

It s a HP NC7781 Card (dual Port) for which i don't get a actual driver for Solaris on the hp webside. I found out that these cards have the Broadcom 5703 Chipset.

During the discovery of the hardware ( if i interupt the boot process (esc) ) it recognises the card as the Broadcom 5703s gigabit ethernet. Within the next step where i can choose where to boot from , the network is not avaiable (only my cd or disk). Also within my installed solaris i did not found a way how to plumb the cards.

Does anone has a idea about this issue ?

all the very best
