Solaris 10 on Amilo D with S3 Savage Pro DDR fails with Xorg
Hi there.
I have a laptop from Fujitsu Siemens, Amilo D with a S3 Savage Pro DDR 32mb shared mem. X fails when using Xorg but not with Xsun.
Xorg starts up and only shows weird colors and flickers, no text or pictures are visible. Only graphical chaos.
Xsun however starts perfectly.
Is this a driver issue with Xorg? If so, how can I fix it? I would like to run Xorg instead of Xsun and that's why I'm interested in resolving this problem.
I would be grateful if anyone could share experiences or tips in this matter.
Thanx.
